On December 22nd, 2008, 5.4 million cubic yards of sludge laced with arsenic and other toxic materials burst out of collection pond in Kingston, Tennessee. The toxic coal ash sludge quickly inundated over 300 acres of pristine Tennessee countryside, destroying everything in its path.
